This course is an advanced beauty treatment which gives a deep exfoliation and resurfaces the skin. Microdermabrasion treatments use a minimally abrasive instrument to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer, and has many benefits. This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat light scarring, discoloration, sun damage and stretch marks. treatment shows excellent results on minimising fine lines and wrinkles, improving scar tissue, comedonal acne, uneven skin texture and stretch marks.
Successful students will be eligible to work with microdermabrasion treatments in aesthetic clinics and skin care clinics. This is an excellent advanced treatment to add to your treatments to offer to your clients.
Pre-requisites needed:
- ITEC Beauty Specialist level 2 diploma or equivalent
- ITEC level 3 in facial electrical treatments or equivalent
What you will learn:
Microdermabrasion treatments – to include consultation, skin analysis, recognising contraindications and contra-actions, carrying out relevant tests prior to treatment and adapting the treatment to the client’s needs
You will also learn about related health and safety and client care and communication which is essential in order to work and be successful in the industry.
